The clinical team at Nice Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position! A casual worker is one who works on an as-needed basis determined by the Company, and how much the professional wishes to work.

In this role, the professional will be paid on an hourly basis, with no regular set hours of work. Casual workers are not eligible for “employee benefits” such as health coverage and retirement contributions. In this role, you’ll provide telehealth care including chat visits, video visits and follow ups. The provider will perform the following duties: work in close partnership with home visit providers, submit referrals of both in-house (Diabetes Educator, Mental Health therapy and Physical therapy) and outside referrals, collaborating with an integrated care team (mental health therapists and physical therapists), and maintaining prescriptive authority. The provider shall perform assigned duties and responsibilities in a professional manner, in good faith, and to the best of the employee’s skills, abilities, talents and experience in addition to maintaining all required state and national licenses and registrations.

What you’ll do at Nice:

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a remote environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a care team
  • Willingness and desire to work between the hours of 8a-7p cst M-F with varying start and end times and/or the hours of 9a-12p cst saturday/sunday.

What you’ve done before:

  • 2 years Telehealth experience preferred.
  • Maintaining minimum licensure in MN
  • Has at least 2,080 hours of full-scope, primary care clinical practice
